Which are the best Korean gel nail stickers? (Ohora, GelatoFactory, Zinipin, and more)

Are you looking into Gel nail stickers, also known as DIY Gel nail stickers, or self gel nail, DIY manicure?

 

Bottom line, they work quite well, and are reasonably priced and quick and cute addition to your OOTD. 

 

Are you wondering which is the best brand in Korea that offers nail stickers?

- I really like Ohora, GelatoFactory, and Zinipin. 

 

How long do they last?

- Gel nail strips last about a week. Most website says upto 2 weeks but some will start chipping and your nails will also begin to grow. Gel nail stickers will last about 5 days to a week.

I have large nails (both wide and long) but as most products come with at least 24-36 nails, they all fit.  In Any case fitting in a size that's slightly smaller than your own nails make your fingers look longer.

1. Zinipin

Zinipin offers ton of elegant designs, usually very chic. Offers both stickers and nail strips.

2. Gelato Factory

Offers some cheekier, trendier designs. Offers stickers and nail strips, nail tips. 

Also sells other beauty products such as depilatory cream, lash serums, DIY eye lash perm kit. 

Personally I really enjoyed their pedi tips. Long lasting and they also correct your toe nail shapes.

In my personal observation I noticed that Gelato Factory has the cheapest price per nail and offers the most sales and several of their products are also availabe on Amazon.

3. Ohora 

Ohora offers the a wide range of gorgeous designs, usually with rhine stones. Ohora was one of the pioneering brands in Korea to offer gel nail strips. You can say they are the OG of the gel nail strips. 

The quality of the strips are great, the shine is impeccable. Strips are thin so they attach really well. But Ohora is also the most expensive among the four.

4. Deepalette

Deepalette offers nail stickers only. 

Has cute but very limited design. The stickers are very thin, tears easily and does not attach easily on the end. You can see in the picture that also the corner of the sticker can lift up, giving it away that it's a sticker.  Cheapest, because they only offer nail stickers.

Here are also a guide to what I mean by stickers, nail strips, and tips. 

Nail stickers	- These are thin nail stickers. - *Not a gel nail strip*. No need to use a lamp.  - Sometimes you can see the pixels on the printed stickers - However it usually looks much nicer and lasts longer if you add a layer of gel top coat
Gel nail strips	- These are gel nail strips "baked" into a semi-hard stickers.  - You place the stickers on your nails, press them firmly on to your nails, and harden them under the UV lamp. - Some brands have pixels on the prints if you look closely.
Fake nails/ Nail tips	- These are artificial nails made of thin plastic with an adhesive on the inside - They are perfectly "painted" and shaped and quicker than nail stickers or strips - Easier to remove
